This fee is paid in the first instalment. In the second instalment, the applicant will be paying the fee for their additional family member(s).

The first instalment is paid at the time of lodging the application and the second instalment is paid as and when asked by the application processing department.

The second instalment needs to be paid by the main applicant for a family member only if:

  1. The member is 18 years or above
  2. The member has applied for a visa along with the primary applicant
  3. The family member has less than Functional English

However, this is not the exact cost of 187 Visa Australia. The prices may vary depending upon the costs required for health assessments, biometrics and police certificates. The English language test (IELTS or PTE) would also cost a certain amount.
